Instructional Materials

          This week sir rainer discussed all about the non-digital and digital skills and tools in delivering technology enhance lesson, where there are several instructional materials that are very important. Diorama, nature table, writing board, flit chart, zigzag board, wall display and rope and pole display board, these are the examples of instructional materials used in the classroom or even in the office or any presentation that will be able to used these instructional materials. After that sir rainer discussed also the guidelines when designing conventional instructional materials, this may help a lot when constructing or creating an instructional material in presenting to enhance the lesson or make the presentation not boring and elegant. The guidelines are unity, simplicity, legibility, consistency, and clarity, when these guidelines where follow all of your presentation in the lesson where perfectly fit to the students and able to understand well and fast.

          After sir rainer discussed the two PowerPoints, he gave our assignment for the next meetings and this will be presented formally. The presentation is by partner, my partner is James Brayan Amor and our topic are infographics. These topics will only be 10 minutes to discuss and only 3 slides to present it in the front. He also gave some discussions about our demonstration next week, and some insights of our topics.
         
After he gave our assignments for the next week and the week after next. He discussed the tools in ICT that will able to used in the subject of TTL. Using mobile phone and QR code is one of the tools, where the QR code is relevant now a days this will help a lot in the classroom, the second one is using laptops and the infographics these will help a lot in presentation or reporting by the students, they need to learn how to make infographics so that they able to create a better presentation. Then the last one is an online bulletin board, this online bulletin board where able to write the important announcement or the recent/latest announce where this will help to know the readers what is the next event or the activities. I realized after all the discussion that all the instructional materials will help to enhance the lesson, and the guidelines will able to be follow for the exceeding meetings so that we can apply these discussions in the reality or in the classroom. As a future educator it is important to had these discussions to us, because it will help us to use technology and to enhance our daily lesson. Some of the technology now is creating a big help to education because the technology used in daily lesson like for example the PowerPoint and laptops, with the help of technology and some of instructional material the students will able to see the visual and some of the presentation.

UNIT TEST 1      In this week, we had a unit test for this subject technology teaching and learning 1. Some of my classmate were aren't ready for this test and to be honest even I reviewed some of the lesson, the exam was difficult. QR Code in Teaching

Ways to Integrate QR Code in Teaching      This week, we discussed again the QR code and give some recitations for those who don't have recitations yet. We use the QR code for the activity, we scanned some QR code in the presentations of sir rainier and inside of the QR code is the questions that the students need to answer. In this case, we need some fast smartphones to read fast the qr code in the front.      After that sir give the ways to integrate qr code in teaching, the qr code is so very helpful in the field of teaching. This application needs smartphones and install the app that can read the qr code and then we are ready for any activities that the teacher that will gave using the qr code. I think in other countries the qr code was very used in their technology, because you can insert what ever in the qr code like personal information, websites, quotes, etc. After that we also discussed the learning portfolio.
